Girls School Shoes

Many girls still attend schools that require certain dress code and the shoes that go with it. Many girls school shoes today have brought back the Mary Janes and the old standby oxford shoe. The old oxford was made of leather not cotton as they are today. They seemed to last longer for some reason. The Mary Janes has that one strap across the middle part of the shoe. Stylish to some, hated by others.

Girls school shoes must be the in thing, not knock offs are allowed. Girls are a bit choosier than boys when it comes to shoes. They can be ballet style, buttons, straps or boots. Little girls going to school for the first time are not so picky on girls school shoes, so you can get buy with buying them something not so stylish or expensive. Girls feet do not grow quite as fast as boys, but be careful when buying them, get the right size, maybe a mite larger than normal. She will grow into the shoe for sure.

The best way to help choose that shoe and save your sanity, is to take the girl or girls with you. Let them pick out the shoe or shoes. If they are old enough to understand money and how much can be spent, tell them they have a limit of how much they can spend. It that is not possible look closely at the prices, they can vary from twenty dollars to hundreds.

Little girls going to school for the first time up to probably middle school range will really go for the colored Mary Janes. They have the strap that goes across the middle of the foot and are made of materials such as leather or cotton. Some are washable which is good. Many different designs on the girls school shoes might come with strawberries, cherries, fairies, flowers or butterflies, the list is endless.

Shoes for the girls that are entering junior and or high school usually go for of a sophisticated look, after all every must match and look good.  Some girls school shoes might be high tops, many girls go for those. They can be pink canvas with colorful laces or an array of colors.

Take the girl or girls with you when shopping for girls school shoes. Every one will be a lot happier and still have some nerves when the shopping is done. Today girls school shoes come in a sneaker look that is wonderful. Some have bows on them, stripes, or flowers. Some girls go for the ballet type shoe, soft and gentle they make the girl feel pretty and special.

High school girls might be a bit harder to buy for. They have a standing that they must uphold and just not any shoe will do. They style for girls school shoes are sandals or flip flops. There are not enough words to describe the flip flops and there many different colors. They even have flip flop socks to wear with the flops. Be careful though when buying flip flops, many schools do not allow them because they can be dangerous to wear.
